2008: "It all started with one."
After a thorough actuarial and underwriting analysis of the Veterinary industry, our founder Rod Finnegan, met with Dr. Jeff Bangle of Oconee Veterinary Hospital, in Watkinsville Georgia, via a local BNI group (Business Network International). The results of this meeting would prove to have lasting effects. Within weeks of that meeting the Vetinsure concept was created.

2015: "No turning back now"
Team Vetinsure reaches the summit of Mt. Rainier! Thanks to Rainier Mountaineering (RMI), we successfully launched VetPro from the summit of Mount Rainier in Washington (14,410 ft) at 7:20am August 5th, 2015! Also, a special thanks to our guides Zeb Blais, Megan Budge and Chase Nelson.
(Blog Dispatch: 08/05/15: 6:24pm: R. Finnegan, Basecamp - Ashford WA): Today was an amazing experience. We left Paradise (5,400 ft) yesterday at 11am and arrived at Camp Muir (10,400) around 4pm. Once we arrived, there was only enough time to eat, set up our bunk and get whatever sleep we could. Sleeping is definitely hard when its still light outside and the air is thin. Even harder is sleeping in a bunk house with 15 other climbers, while knowing the suffering to come over the next 24 hours.
The climb was dangerous, but turning back was never on the menu. The mountain is much larger in person than any picture. The prominence is breathtaking as is the lack of oxygen. After climbing through the night we reached the summit crater under good conditions (20 degrees/30mph wind) just after 7am PST. Zeb Blais, our head guide, helped raise the Vetinsure banner at the top to officially kick off VetPro!
We stayed on the summit for about an hour before beginning the 8 hour descent back to Paradise. We were fortunate not only to have good conditions, but we ascended alongside teams led by mountaineering legends Ed Viesturs and Peter Whittaker. We even ran into Melissa Arnot at Camp Muir on the way up. It was definitely a star-studded occasion today!
2015: "You really need to hear this."
Vetinsure launches a new Veterinary CE course called InsuranceGPS. We teach Veterinarians how to create a risk management strategy, what exposes Veterinarians today, explanation of coverage's, and insider tips for how to get the most out of your policy without paying through the nose for it. Depending on the size of the audience, it is meant to be interactive and everyone is encouraged to bring their policies to compare and follow along. The content is guaranteed not to be found anywhere else in Veterinary CE!
